We have an opportunity for a Professional Support Lawyer to work with the KM Team to develop, manage and maintain the know-how, knowledge tools and resources and provide knowledge management and legal training support in Jersey. This will include support across our Corporate, Funds and Trust and Private Wealth practice areas.
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing, managing and making easily accessible the departments' collections of precedents and know-how
- Helping to organise, design and deliver departmental legal and knowledge training
- Monitoring legal and market developments and keep the lawyers up to date
- Working with partners and the marketing team to identify relevant topics and support production of client briefings and thought leadership
- Responding to fee earner queries and research requests
- Helping progress and develop the knowledge strategy for the departments and implementing wider knowledge projects. For example: preparing knowhow collections for improved search and automating and restyling precedents
- Working with knowledge director and other members of the KM team to shape and progress the knowledge strategy for Jersey and the wider firm and to pilot and implement new and upgraded systems and ways of working
Applicants will have experience of corporate, funds and/or trusts and private wealth work, be qualified in a recognised common law jurisdiction such as England and Wales and have a minimum of 5 years' post qualification experience in a leading firm. PSL or knowledge management experience is preferred.
