Carey Olsen attending Mining Indaba Week 2024
Carey Olsen is pleased to once again be in Cape Town for Mining Indaba, the world's largest African mining investment event, between 4-8 February 2024.
Mining Indaba 2024 will revolve around the theme, 'Embracing the power of positive disruption: A bold new future for African mining'.
This year's event aims to encourage the necessary change and positive disruption the African mining industry requires for advancement.
The agenda includes but is not limited to;
- The role of technology in African unemployment
- Reimagining the mining operator's day in the life - a more productive, safe and sustainable mine
- Promoting African's mining vision on the global stage
- Developing Africa's infrastructure to advance the mineral chain
- The power women yield as positive disrupters in the mining industry
Carey Olsen will be co-hosting the Mining Indaba 'Big Sunday Night Party' on 4 February in support of the Kusasa Project - a local initiative to help address the deficiencies in literacy, nutrition and sport for disadvantaged children.
