Carey Olsen advises Trust Corporation International in acquisition by Ocorian
Carey Olsen has acted as lead counsel to Trust Corporation International on its sale to Ocorian, a global financial services group and provider of corporate and fund administration, capital markets and private client services.
An independent Guernsey fiduciary with more than 50 staff, Trust Corporation International specialises in proactive planning, wealth administration and corporate services.
The transaction, which is subject to regulatory approval, will see Ocorian enhance its ability to provide a comprehensive service offering to private clients and international corporates and grow its full-service Guernsey team to more than 160 professionals.
The Carey Olsen team advising Trust Corporation International on all aspects of the transaction was led by corporate partners Tom Carey and Tony Lane. They were assisted by senior associates Colin Calvert and John Scanlan and associate Jessica Dewsnip (corporate), partner Jason Morgan and associate Kieran Ogilvie (property), counsel Laila Arstall (tax) and partner Elaine Gray.
