Carey Olsen Bermuda supports Meritus Trust Company on Lepercq acquisition
Carey Olsen Bermuda's corporate team has advised premier boutique trust provider Meritus Trust Company Limited on its acquisition of Lepercq Corporation Management Ltd. and its direct subsidiary, Lepercq Corp. Services Co. Ltd.
The acquisition of the corporate service provider of company incorporation, management and administration services will extend Meritus' international reach and strengthen its position as a leading independent provider of corporate administration, trust and private client services.
The Carey Olsen Bermuda team, which acted as lead counsel to Meritus and advised on all aspects of the transaction comprised partner Mary Ward and senior associate Michelle Falcucci.

Meritus was founded by Michelle Wolfe and Allan Wiekenkamp in 2010. Following the acquisition of Lepercq the Meritus team of experienced private client professionals will grow to 23 with the joining of the four Lepercq staff.
