Laneez Surf School continues to support local charities with Carey Olsen sponsorship
Laneez Surf School ("Laneez") offered more than 500 free surfing opportunities for children and adults in Jersey last year, with the support of sponsors Carey Olsen.
Over the course of 2023, Laneez hosted introductory surfing lessons for charities Healing Waves, Brighter Futures, Jersey Cares, Brightly and My Time 4 Young Carers.
Carey Olsen has supported Laneez in providing surfing lessons to local charities since 2020 and will continue to do so this year.
Carey Olsen partner Kate Andrews said: "Surfing and spending time in the sea can have many benefits for mental and physical health and we are delighted to continue to support Scott and Grace and the fantastic team at Laneez in their work to bring surfing to the community."
Director of Laneez Surf School, Scott Donaldson, said: "Living as close to the ocean as we do and with good surf in abundance, we believe it is only fair that all islanders have a chance to experience the physical and mental benefits of surfing. Working with these charities to facilitate these sessions is hugely rewarding for everyone involved and it is a delight to see those who join us grow into confident surfers. We are very grateful for Carey Olsen's continued support."
