Carey Olsen sponsors Jersey Regatta for fifth year running
Carey Olsen is the proud sponsor of the Jersey Regatta, the biggest multi-class event in the Channel Islands area organised by the combined yacht clubs of Jersey, for the fifth consecutive year.
The 26th edition of this flagship sailing event, designed to provide three days of competition and camaraderie for local and visiting boats alike, will take place from Friday 13 to Sunday 15 September 2024.
Following a welcoming reception at St Helier Yacht Club on Thursday 12 September, racing will commence on Friday. Cruiser/racer and multihull classes will take part in a coastal race in the morning, with 'small boat' classes to compete in the afternoon. On Saturday and Sunday, all classes will take part in back-to-back races which count towards the Championships.
The GBR IRC Channel Islands Championship, now in its 11th year and the top attraction for IRC cruiser classes, will offer all local and visiting IRC-rated boats the chance to win prizes donated by Spinlock.
The closing date for entering the Jersey Regatta is Tuesday 10 September, with an 'early bird' discount available to those that register no later than Friday 23 August.
