Carey Olsen supports Caribbean Investment Holdings with LSE delisting and change in BSX listing status
Carey Olsen Bermuda Limited has advised Caribbean Investment Holdings Limited (CIHL) with regard to the Bermuda aspects of its delisting from the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange (LSE) and its simultaneous change in Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) listing status from secondary to primary.
The upgrade in BSX listing status of the Ordinary Shares of CIHL to a primary listing and delisting from the AIM market took effect on Tuesday 30 November and followed the company securing the necessary board and shareholder approvals.
The Carey Olsen team advising CIHL on all Bermuda related legal and regulatory aspects associated with the transaction comprised corporate partner Steven Rees Davies and associate Keivon Simons.
Steven said: "We are very pleased to have worked on this project for CIHL. The delisting from the London Stock Exchange and simultaneous upgrade from a secondary listing to a primary listing on the Bermuda Stock Exchange has been a carefully considered decision by CIHL and one that is more suitable to the circumstances of the company and its shareholders."
