Carey Olsen's James Noble named in Asian Legal Business offshore top 10

Carey Olsen Singapore partner James Noble has been named in the Asian Legal Business (ALB) 2021 Offshore Client Choice List.

The prestigious list, which is limited to 10 legal experts each year, highlights Asia's standout lawyers from offshore law firms who have exceeded client expectations. To compile the list, ALB surveys clients of offshore firms, asking them to recommend lawyers who stood out not only for their ability to provide sound advice, but also their commitment to client service.
James, who is head of litigation, insolvency and restructuring for Carey Olsen in Asia, is a specialist in complex and high value shareholder litigation, asset recovery, cross-border enforcement and insolvency, with more than 20 years' experience working in a wide variety of commercial, trust and estate disputes and private wealth matters. He is also the only litigator in Singapore who is admitted in both the Cayman Islands and British Virgin Islands.
He was praised by clients in the ALB survey for being 'highly knowledgeable with an emotionally intelligent persona' and for his 'very pleasant, professional approach in his communication and working relationship'.

Carey Olsen has had a presence in Asia since the 2015 launch of its Singapore office – ranked Tier One in the most recent edition of Legal 500 Asia Pacific. The Singapore office was then followed by the opening of a Hong Kong practice in 2016. Between them, the two offices provide on-the-ground legal advice on Bermuda, BVI, Cayman Islands and Channel Islands law in relation to banking and finance matters, corporate and commercial work, including M&A and capital markets, investment funds, dispute resolution and litigation, insolvency and restructuring.
