Keith Robinson elected as Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel

Carey Olsen Bermuda partner Keith Robinson has been elected as a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC).

ACTEC is considered the premier trusts and estates lawyer organisation in the United States, with Fellows in all 50 states as well as from 16 other jurisdictions globally. ACTEC, which was established in 1949, is a non-profit association of more than 2,500 trust and estate lawyers and law professors who have been elected by their peers in recognition of having made outstanding contributions to the practice of trust and estate law.

Keith was elected as a Fellow at ACTEC's recent annual meeting held in Boca Raton, Florida. Lawyers are selected for election based on their professional reputation and skill and contributions to the legal profession through lecturing, writing and teaching. Keith is one of only two Bermuda lawyers who have been elected as international fellows of ACTEC and he was recently described in Chambers and Partners High Net Worth guide as 'highly regarded as one of the most recognised names for offshore trust matters'.

Keith commented: "It is undoubtedly an honour to be elected a Fellow of ACTEC and I look forward to engaging with the important work of the College. The United States is of course a key jurisdiction for Bermuda private client practice and my election as a fellow of ACTEC is reflective of the strength of the Carey Olsen trust and private client practice group."
