Carey Olsen pair named as top offshore litigators in Asia

Carey Olsen partners James Noble and Jeremy Lightfoot have been named among the Top 15 Offshore Litigators practising in Asia by Asian Legal Business (ALB).
凯瑞奥信律师事务所合伙人詹诺倍James Noble和赖晋美Jeremy Lightfoot荣登由《亚洲法律杂志》（ALB）评选出的在亚洲执业的顶级离岸诉讼律师15强。
The respected publication's offshore litigator rankings highlights the top disputes practitioners working with offshore law firms who have successfully handled significant cases and exceeded client expectations in the process. Lawyers were selected based on the profile of their cases, client recommendations, and feedback from the market.
The ALB rankings recognised James, who is based in Singapore and leads the firm's litigation, insolvency and restructuring practice in Asia, as 'a specialist in shareholder litigation, asset recovery, cross-border enforcement and insolvency'.
Similarly, Jeremy, who is head of the litigation, insolvency and restructuring practice in Carey Olsen's Hong Kong SAR office, is recognised as someone well known for 'his work on high value, complex commercial and corporate litigation, insolvency and restructuring matters'.
Their inclusion in the rankings follow the firm's recent success at the 2021 China Business Law Awards where Carey Olsen was named international firm of the year for its dispute resolution (cross-border) practice.

Carey Olsen has had a presence in Asia since the 2015 launch of its Singapore office. This was then followed by the opening of a Hong Kong practice in 2016. Between them, the two offices provide on-the-ground legal advice on Bermuda, BVI, Cayman Islands and Channel Islands law in relation to banking and finance matters, corporate and commercial work, including M&A and capital markets, investment funds, trusts and private wealth, dispute resolution and litigation, insolvency and restructuring.

同样的，凯瑞奥信香港办事处的诉讼、破产和重组业务负责人Jeremy也被认可为 “在高价值且复杂的商业和公司诉讼、破产和重组事务方面的知名律师”。
在以上两位获此殊荣之前，凯瑞奥信律所也在2021年《中国商业法律大奖》被评为争议解决（跨境）业务的年度国际律所。
