Carey Olsen shortlisted twice in Hedgeweek's European Digital Assets Awards
Carey Olsen has been shortlisted in two categories at the upcoming 2023 Hedgeweek European Digital Assets Awards: 'Best Law Firm – Overall' and 'Best Law Firm – Fund Domicile'.
The awards, which are now in their second year, recognise excellence among fund managers and service providers in the digital assets space. The nominated service providers have been selected based on a survey of more than 100 digital assets fund managers.
Carey Olsen advises digital asset businesses in all areas of law and regulation in Bermuda, the British Virgin Islands, the Cayman Islands, Guernsey and Jersey. The firm's global technology practice combines legal expertise across investment funds, corporate, finance, private client and trusts, dispute resolution, employment and regulatory. Carey Olsen's lawyers have been involved in shaping legislative and policy decisions in their jurisdictions and have advised on many firsts in the digital assets sector, including the launch of the world's first Bitcoin investment fund and first Ethereum denominated fund.
Carey Olsen Jersey partner Chris Griffin commented: "It is fantastic to be shortlisted among the best law firms for digital asset services, particularly on the basis of industry expert voting. Carey Olsen's digital asset expertise across the global practice is continually growing, and it is testament to the strength of our teams that the firm has received shortlistings for both best overall law firm and best fund domicile law firm."
The online voting portal will be open until Monday 15th May and you can vote for each of the categories, here.
Winners will be decided by a majority vote and the results will be announced at a ceremony at Convene Bishopsgate in London on Thursday 29th June.
