Jenette Bales

Jenette is an associate in the trusts and private wealth team in Guernsey.

She assists in advising private clients and corporate trustees on inheritance and capacity laws, including the creation of wills, administration of estates and guardianship. Her practice also covers working on all aspects concerning Guernsey trusts and their administration including the scope and interpretation of trust powers, fiduciary duties, information and disclosure obligations and with charitable trusts.

Jenette was admitted as solicitor of England and Wales (currently non-practising) in 2009. Prior to joining Carey Olsen in 2024 she practised with Fisher Meredith LLP on all aspects of family matters, before returning to Guernsey in 2014 where she was based at the Office of the Children's Convenor, addressing a range of complex disputes involving children and young people.
