Carey Olsen Singapore ranked Tier 1 for fourth consecutive year by The Legal 500

Carey Olsen Singapore has been ranked Tier 1 for the fourth consecutive year in The Legal 500 Asia Pacific Guide, since the offshore law category was introduced in the Singapore rankings, with more of its lawyers ranked than any other offshore firm. It is also the only firm with associates recognised as "Leading Associates" by The Legal 500.

Carey Olsen was praised by Legal 500 as "standing out as a hallmark of quality in every jurisdiction in which it operates. It is a firm which attracts lawyers of the highest calibre. It has developed a dominant position in Singapore, providing a gateway for litigation in the Cayman Islands, the BVI and Bermuda for clients from East Asia, particularly the PRC."

Reflecting this strength, managing partner Anthony McKenzie, Asia litigation head James Noble and Singapore head of funds Tom Katsaros have once again maintained their place as 'Leading Partners'. Partner Helen Wang has maintained her ranking as a 'Next Generation Partner,' while counsel Kate Lan and Amelia Tan have retained their 'Leading Associates' status. Kate and Amelia are also the only two lawyers recognised in this category.

In addition to firm and individual rankings, Legal 500 also recognises Client Satisfaction excellence for the top 30% of firms in each jurisdiction. This recognition is based on client surveys measuring the service they receive from law firms. These are considered the only valid globally comprehensive law firm Net Promoter Score® ratings worldwide. Carey Olsen is proud to have received a Client Satisfaction label in addition to a Tier 1 ranking.

Highlighting the firm's client service, one client said: "We have consistently received timely and thorough responses to simple and complex legal and strategic questions from multiple members of Carey Olsen's legal team. We are able to work with them as an extension of our firm, rather than an outside service provider".

Carey Olsen is now one of the largest offshore law firms in Asia, with significant offices in Singapore and Hong Kong SAR. The firm's Asia team recently achieved strong rankings in the Chambers Asia-Pacific 2025 Guide. Additionally, the firm was named among Singapore's best law firms by The Straits Times.
