James is an associate in Carey Olsen's corporate and finance team in Guernsey.
James has experience in acting for a range of local and international financial institutions and corporate entities on corporate transactions, often of a multi-jurisdictional nature, with a particular focus on banking and finance and investment funds in addition to general corporate and regulatory matters.
Career
Prior to joining Carey Olsen in January 2025, James worked at another leading offshore law firm in Guernsey.
As an undergraduate James majored in History and Political Science at James Cook University in Australia, before completing both his Graduate Diploma in Law and Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the University of Law.
James qualified as a solicitor of England and Wales in 2023.
