Brian Catalano

Brian is an associate in the dispute resolution and litigation team at Carey Olsen Bermuda Limited. He maintains a broad general commercial litigation practice.

Brian has experience prosecuting and defending complex contractual, shareholder, and construction disputes, oppression and fraud claims, and insurance-related litigation. He has successfully resolved matters for clients through settlement, mediations, summary judgment applications, and at trial.

Prior to joining Carey Olsen Bermuda Limited, Brian worked as an associate in the dispute resolution and litigation group at a leading Canadian law firm, MLT Aikins LLP. He was voted as "One to Watch" in corporate and commercial litigation and was recognised in the 2025 edition of Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in Canada.

Brian completed his articles at the Calgary office of a large international law firm and was admitted as a member of the Law Society of Alberta in 2020. He received a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Alberta in 2019, a Master of Management degree from the University of British Columbia (Sauder School of Business) in 2015, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of British Columbia, Okanagan in 2014.
