Devon is an associate within Carey Olsen’s corporate and investment funds team in Jersey, bringing a robust background in corporate law and investment funds. With experience advising funds, fund managers, corporates, and financial institutions on establishment, regulation, co-investments, portfolio acquisitions, restructuring, financing, and operations in Jersey, he delivers comprehensive support across the investment landscape.

Career

Devon joined Carey Olsen in 2022. As a former associate designate within the business consulting services practice at a top South African law firm and having trained in corporate M&A and employment law, Devon has an international insight into corporate law and corporate operations. Devon broadened his experience of private equity with a secondment to one of Europe’s largest private equity firms during the 2023 financial year. He holds dual degrees (both cum laude) in Business Management and Law from Nelson Mandela University and was admitted as an attorney and notary public in South Africa in 2022.
