Matthew Rush

Matthew Rush is the Managing Director of Carey Olsen Services Cayman Limited. Based in the Cayman Islands, Matt has responsibility for the provision of registered office and corporate services.

With nearly 15 years of experience in the legal and corporate services industry, Matt has extensive expertise in assisting clients with corporate governance, compliance, entity management and anti-money laundering matters. He has assisted a wide range of clients, including multi-national corporations, global financial institutions, investment funds, private equity houses, sovereign wealth funds and private clients, in establishing their entities in the Cayman Islands and ensuring adherence to local regulations.

Matt's broad expertise has enabled him to successfully navigate the complexities of corporate administration, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency, ensuring that clients receive tailored solutions that align with their objectives and regulatory obligations.

Before joining Carey Olsen, Matt served as a Commercial Director at Intertrust Group (a CSC Company) a global provider of corporate and fund services. In this role, he focused on commercial activities, fostering business growth and spearheading the development of new products and processes that prioritized operational efficiencies for clients on a global scale. Matt also acted as the Head of Business Development at Intertrust's Cayman Islands office, where he played a pivotal role in expanding the company's presence and client base in the region.

Before his tenure at Intertrust, Matt worked for over 10 years at Walkers in the Cayman Islands and Allen & Overy in their New York and Washington, D.C. offices specializing in strategic business development initiatives and client development programs.
