Bookkeeper - Part-Time (VA419)

We are currently looking for a part-time Bookkeeper, to carry out bookkeeping and financial statement preparation for 9 Jersey registered companies. 

Principal duties include:

  • Bookkeeping transactions in a timely manner
  • Monitoring bank accounts
  • Assisting with the drawdown and distribution calculations
  • Setting up cash transfers and obtaining the required authorisations
  • Assist with annual financial statement preparations
  • Assist with data collection for annual tax return submissions
  • Assist with occasional ad hoc bookkeeping for the wider Carey Olsen Group as and when required, i.e. when transactional volumes/reporting requirements are low for the entities that the role is primarily responsible for

The ideal candidate will have a bookkeeping qualification, be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel) and ideally have experience working with 3E or a similar system. 

This is a part-time position, with a requirement for the successful candidate to work circa 20 hours per week.
